Terminus Surveying is a full service surveying company, located in Tampa, Florida and providing Professional Surveying Services in the area since 1980. In June of 2017, our CEO, Jason purchased the company from M. Mooney and Associates and renamed the firm Terminus Surveying, LLC. Here at Terminus, we are able to offer a competitive edge using the latest Carlson survey GPS equipment and data management software.
Our local staff includes a Professional Surveyor And Mapper (PSM), a Registered Surveyor In Training (SIT) with over 50 years of combined experience. We have 2 Survey Technicians, 5 drafting professionals, 3 administrative technicians and 13 field Surveyors to comprise our team.
Terminus Surveying is a Veteran Owned and operated business. We have 4 combat veterans on staff, our CEO Jason, Erika our COI, David our Operations Manager, and Miro our Technician. Elevation certificates are needed when a building or structure is located in flood plane area, such as "AE". "A" "floodway" . You may be paying to much for flood insurance and we may be able to save your firm money just by completing a simple elevation certificate.
These are used for purchasing, or refinancing large commercial properties, and require title commitments and Table A items that can become very time consuming, these are very costly surveys, that take significantly longer than most other types of surveys listed below.

Mortgage surveys are standard lot and block surveys for title companies, builder lots, or small rural properties that just need to verify the boundary of the property. These surveys can typically be completed in less than a week, and are very reasonably priced.
Boundary, Topographic, tree location, construction staking, Tie in surveys, final surveys, as built surveys, site plans, wetland delineation surveys, fall into this realm of surveying, we are very versed on these types of surveying and are very competitive on our pricing.
GPS control surveys are used to add elevations to sites. Terminus will find and locate county or state approved Benchmarks, and bring those elevations into your project to ensure your structure is is build at the right Height every time. These are also used for grading large plots of land during the layout of subdivisions, large commercial properties, or setting piles.
