Scope Of Work

Parker Brown, Inc., has completed a significant project that will add to the comfort of visitors to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and protect delicate exhibits.

The Canoga Park-based general contractor completed the contract by the library to build a 6,725-square-feet temporary building that houses visiting exhibits. Previous visiting exhibits were housed in an outdoor tent. This temporary building has solid walls, an elevator, temperature and humidity controls and creates a more comfortable environment for visitors.

John Parker, partner in the firm said, “The first exhibits to be housed in this building will be artifacts from the Vatican that are sensitive to heat and moisture. This building will be more appropriate for those collections and it will be a lot better for visitors.”

This is the first job that Parker-Brown has done for the Reagan Presidential Library, said partner Scott Brown, a native of Thousand Oaks.
