Core and Shell Renovations to Buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4, Radnor, PA
4 Class "A" Buildings (February 2006– September 2008), Casaccio Architects
Radnor Corporate Center, constructed in phases through the 1970s into the late 1980s and purchased by BRT in 2006, is in the process of undergoing a multi-million dollar facelift. The modernization and aesthetic upgrades have included, in part, the following:
Building 1 (5-story building, project duration: 11 months)
Replace all windows and storefronts
Relocation of existing building entrances from either end of building to center
Creation of new main lobby, including:
• Removal/infill of existing stairs to allow for more rentable space on 1st and 2nd floors
• Creation of new main center lobby staircase
• Upgraded finishes including wood panels, glass rail systems, stone flooring at new lobby
Renovation of elevator lobby, corridor and restroom on all floors
Building systems upgrades, including new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services
Building 2 (3-story building, project duration: 6 months, run concurrent with buildings 3 and 4)
