Power Electric Co., Inc.

Power Electric Co., Inc., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of New Jersey, was incorporated on November 24, 1958 and is in its sixty fifth (65) year of operation as an electrical contractor.  During this period of time, we have undertaken and successfully completed electrical installations of all types, including high-rise apartment buildings, office complexes, commercial and industrial facilities, hospitals and nursing homes, schools and universities, airport facilities and public works projects that included administration buildings, water filtration plants, sewage disposal facilities and plants.  The experience gained in completing these projects is extensive and diversified, enabling us to pursue all types of electrical work with the confidence that we will successfully complete any job that we may be awarded. Our sphere of operation is New Jersey, with the major portion of our work concentrated in the middle and northern portions of the state. 

       Our company headquarters, consisting of our main office, warehouse and yard, comprising 37,500 square feet, is located at 10-22 North 7th Street, Belleville, New Jersey and is staffed by 20 employees which include our officers, estimators, purchasing agents, expediters, project administrators and supervisors, accounting and clerical people.  The balance of our employees are drawn from local I.B.E.W. locals within the State of New Jersey, with which we have an excellent rapport.

Power Electric Co., Inc. has been prequalified by the Department of The Treasury Division of Property Management and Construction, and the New Jersey Schools Development Authority to bid electrical work in the following amounts: DBC - Unlimited;  NJSDA - Unlimited.
