The seed for Great Lakes Waterproofing was planted in 1959 when Russell Kalamback began waterproofing in Chicago, IL. Originally from Grand Rapids, Russell returned to the Furniture City in the early 1960′s, running the Arid Waterproofing Company.

In 1978, Great Lakes Waterproofing Co. was born, as a new generation descendant of the family-owned business. Since then, we’ve grown to serve all of Michigan, Illinois & the Great Lakes States by putting the customer first. We’ve helped thousands of satisfied customers and continue to serve with the highest of standards.
