Scope Of Work
Award-winning beer deserves to be served in a worthy venue. When we got the call to build the latest BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Murfreesboro, Tenn., we built a place that looks as good as their beer tastes.
The Herd first tackled installing a complex storm drainage system that included two Aqua-Swirl water quality units. On the site, we built a wood-framed structure featuring RedBuilt open-web trusses to allow for a wide, open interior. The exterior of the building included a mix of thin brick, stucco and split-face concrete masonry units (CMUs) with the signature BJ’s murals displayed on two sides.
The real pride of this build is the inside, though. The rustic wood and metal, exposed ductwork, and glass garage doors give the space an urban, open-loft feel. And just look at all those beer taps across that bar. This is a place where beer lovers can enjoy the craftsmanship of both the beer and the location.
