Scope Of Work
This was a historical renovation and new construction project that was sensitive to the historic issues regarding the Tuskegee Airmen who fought during World War II. The site contained buried historic features including old concrete curbs and other site and facility conditions that had to be protected and matched to restore and recreate the site to its original purpose. In keeping with the spirit of the National Park Service’s objectives, NationView was committed to maximizing the use of local resources and involving the local community in subcontracting and other employment opportunities. Especially exciting is our involvement of local family businesses with ties to the original construction and maintenance of the airfield.
