A Note from Our President

In 1953, with one pickup truck and three employees, my father and uncle founded Orndorff & Spaid, Inc. In 1986, I assumed Presidency of the company. Having worked within the company from age sixteen, I learned the importance of a firm commitment to experienced personnel, well maintained equipment, and quality workmanship. We strive for these same company goals today. 

We continuously employ over 175 full-time trained personnel and operate over 100 pieces of over-the-road equipment. These two factors allow us to handle complex and various sized roofing projects in a timely fashion. If you were to look over the rooftops of Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia, you would be able to pick out hundreds of examples of the fine work of Orndorff & Spaid, one of the region’s largest roofing contractors.
