Our Story

Santa Rita Landscaping has been in business with landscaping & landscape design in Tucson and Southern Arizona since 1985. The company was originally started by Tucson landscapers, Brian & Garrett Ham, as a custom residential construction and a residential maintenance company. Although the company no longer performs residential landscape maintenance, it has become one of Tucson and Southern Arizona’s largest and best companies for landscape design in Tucson.

In 2012 Santa Rita successfully merged with Richard Spross, owner of Southwest Enviroscapes Inc. Southwest Enviroscapes, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Richard Spross and is one of Tucson’s leading providers of landscaping services for the commercial and public sectors, including such recently completed jobs as the new Uni-Source Tower and the I-10 corridor from Prince to 29th street.

The 3 owners of Santa Rita Landscaping combined have over 75 years of experience with landscaping Tucson, allowing us to truly serve as “Southern Arizona’s landscape solution”, offering Custom Residential Design and Installation, Commercial Construction, Builder Services, and Commercial Landscaping Maintenance.

Santa Rita Landscaping has become a Rain Bird© Irrigation Select Contractor and is a member of such professional organizations as Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA) and Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
