R.E. Rice, Inc.

Originally founded in the mid 1940's, Clem Rice Inc. specialized in residential and commercial construction.  After a sons interest in excavating in 1965, the company began performing their own excavation in house.  The company eventually focused on servicing the excavation needs of fellow contractors within Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties.

After successfully managing the company for over 20 years, Richard Rice changed the company name to R.E. Rice Incorporated in 1992.  R.E. Rice Inc. continues the legacy of providing superior service from the bidding process to job completion. We specialize in Commercial and Industrial Excavation, Site development, Underground Utilities, and Bulk Landscape Supplies.

Our expertise and loyalty begins with our employees.  Some of our experienced operators began with the firm in the early 1970's.  Other key personnel include our project coordinator and our estimator. 

      Over the years, R.E. Rice Inc. has serviced the excavating needs of hundreds of customers who have repeatedly used our firm to complete additional projects.  It is our intention to work with the level of skill and effort necessary to earn your present and future business.
