Our Story

Natural forces work against the improvements man constructs. Understanding these forces is important to overcoming them and providing solutions. Vertical Earth's Experience, Resources, and Flexibility are unparalleled and provide our customers with the most value. As a leading geotechnical contractor, Vertical Earth provides the EXPERIENCE, RESOURCES, and FLEXIBILITY to successfully complete your next project. Our EXPERIENCE enables our staff to identify our clients' needs and assist in the determination of the best, most cost effective solution. Our RESOURCES include not only our dedicated employees, but also our commitment to the industry in the form of our engineering partners and our company owned equipment. Our FLEXIBILITY enables us to act quickly to satisfy our clients' needs and not limit our services to a particular construction methodology. Vertical Earth will construct the best engineered solution for a particular situation, whether permanent or temporary, geosynthetically reinforced structures such as modular walls or over-steepened reinforced slopes, gravity structures, pressure relief walls, cast in place concrete, gabion walls, panel walls, soil nail or tieback anchored structures, drilled or driven H-pile structures, shotcrete faced, rock fall structures or netting, compaction or pressure grouting, pipe or culvert re-lining, or a combination of the above.

To provide additional value to our clients, Vertical Earth is a GDOT Prequalified Prime Contractor as well as a Georgia licensed General Contractor.

For the infrastructure of your next industrial, commercial, institutional, educational, residential, transportation, or landfill project, Vertical Earth will Build your next Solution.

Retaining Walls and Geosynthetic Structures

Grade separation solutions are a part of many projects. Vertical Earth constructs these solutions from Cast in Place Concrete, Shotcrete, Modular Block, Rubble, Big Block Gravity Units, Gabion Baskets, or Reinforced Slopes. One of the most successful and economical means to accomplish these is through Geosynthetically Reinforced Structures. Primarily consisting of Modular Walls and Reinforced Slopes, many facing options are available, from vegetated and rock-faced reinforced slopes to block-facing varying from a standard grey to multi-piece block sets with blended colors. With more square feet constructed than almost any company in the eastern United States, we provide value in our solutions that others cannot.
