Owner Bio:
Our owner Al Donald has been a licensed contractor since 1975 here in the State of Florida. He’s
worked in the construction industry for more than 48 years. He started in the construction
industry as an apprentice carpenter and after four years he graduated at age 23 as a journeyman
carpenter. At age 26 ventured out on his own and started a frame & trim contracting business
which progressed into becoming a General Contractor. He also grew up in the construction field
as his father was a carpenter and superintendent for a large general contracting firm. His father
mentored him for the first six years of his career.

Company History:
In 1995 he started MacDonald Builders, Inc. doing residential and commercial construction
projects. In early 2000 a new siding division was formed in the company and by 2006
MacDonald builders had become one of the largest siding companies in West Central Florida.
When the real estate market collapsed in 2008 the new construction business all but stopped. A
decision was made to emphasize remodeling and a new corporate name change was decided on to
reflect the change of direction. Hence A&E Remodeling, LLC became the new corporate name in
2009.

A&E Remodeling, LLC is a fully licensed State of Florida General Contracting company and is, a
James Hardie partner that has been certified to install all the James Hardie Siding products. With
over 48 years of experience and knowledge in the remodeling and new construction industry,
