Service Pumping & Drain was originally founded in 1927 in Wakefield, Massachusetts by the Hewitt family. Later, in 1972, Service Pumping & Drain was purchased by Dick Mottolo, who continues to operate the company as it is known today. At that time, Service Pumping & Drain consisted of only two employees and two pump trucks. Since then, the company has grown to include over 20 employees and a fleet of 20 service vehicles in order to best serve our clients.

In addition to providing pumping, draining and septic services, Service Pumping & Drain Co., Inc. also has its own waste water treatment facility Northeast Environmental Processing in Lawrence, MA where food and grease trap waste water is processed.
