Shea's Bolt Down Barriers are MassDot Certified

On Monday, March 18th, Shea Concrete Products of Wilmington, MA delivered precast, Bolt Down Barriers to the Larz Anderson Memorial Bridge construction project at the JFK and Memorial Drive intersection in Cambridge, MA. This was the first time Shea Concrete Products delivered this new product line to a jobsite. “Although we've always made Median Barriers, these barriers are unique because they can be bolted into the ground and use attachable J-JHooks, meeting the new FHWA MASH requirements,” Greg Stratis, Shea Concrete Products manager, said. “We’re proud to be one of only two certified manufacturers that can supply bolt down barriers to MassDOT projects.”
