Landmark Studios offers complete service in restoration and preservation of architectural stone, masonry and plaster - and in the creation, installation, and repair of sculpture & custom fabrications.

Our work began in 1982, with roots in restoring sculptural building facades of Hoboken and Manhattan. With us we bring twenty-five years of practical experience preserving both, exterior and interior - monumental and austere. Our focus is on the integration of our repairs with the original structure, and attention to detail.

Landmark Studios employs traditional restoration trades-people, as well as sculptors and mold-makers. Together, we can create and deliver well crafted and water-tight projects spawned from damaged architectural features and conditions, or from drawings and photographs.

On monumental structures, we’re able to take impressions from existing features as a basis for producing accurately cast or carved reproductions. If unit replacement is not desired, we alternately perform quality on-site patching and ‘Dutchman’ repairs to integrate with adjacent areas. Methods and materials are chosen to meet strength and compatibility requirements, to match color and texture, and to conform to preservation standards.
