In 1941 Emmett J. Malloy started his Inglewood, California company doing the tough little jobs too small for the larger contracting companies to handle. Through his dedication to quality work and service, Emmett J. Malloy-General Engineering Contractors grew to be a leader in the Southern California construction industry.

The tradition continued in 1963 when his son Tom Malloy started Malloy Equipment Rentals. His philosophy of "I can't afford to compromise on quality" continues today, as Trench Shoring Company. Started in 1973, Trench Shoring Company provides the construction industry with the finest in shoring equipment and service from eight convenient locations in Southern California and one in Las Vegas, Nevada.
