My Background

My entire life has been dedicated to the asphalt industry.  I got my taste of Hot Mix Asphalt working for Total Asphalt in St. Paul, MN .   Eventually, after a lot of hard work and dedication, I worked my way upward from the patch crew entry level to the main line paving crew and large-scale highway projects.

In 1990, I decided to expand my knowledge base and began seal coating driveways during downtimes. After Bankruptcy hit my employer I had to make a decision between joining a new company or starting my own. The answer was pretty much a no-brainer. I was young, full of energy and had a great desire to move my own company forward...so I did.
