Our Story

The President and owner of Silicon Valley Paving Inc, Todd Slyngstad has over 30 years’ experience in the paving industry. He began his career in the operations department of a major asphalt supplier in 1993 testing asphalt products for city compliance.

In 1989, he became an estimator for a prominent bay area paving company, moving up later to Project Management and finally as Division Manager. In 1995, he became a partner at a local asphalt maintenance company in the San Jose area, and after substantially expanding the company’s earnings; Todd was ready to open his own company.

In 1997, he started Silicon Valley Paving Inc. The company has been successfully growing and is now recognized as one of the Bay Area’s premier paving companies.
