Our Story

Our firm has served our many customers' electrical needs since 1972 and successfully provided electrical installations for such facilities as office buildings, universities, research centers, parks, stadiums, public schools, libraries, museums, consulates, stores, supermarkets, residences, theaters, houses of worship, police stations, airport facilities, garages, bridges, and warehouses. Our experience and reference list is herewith enclosed.

We are a licensed WBE contractor, certified as such with the following agencies:

J.H. Electric of New York, Inc. is affiliated with IBEW, NECA, and AEC.

We have proven capabilities in Electrical Design, Engineering, and Consulting. In addition, we are certified for both Entry Alarms and for Lightning Protection Design and Installation. We maintain the highest safety standards and conform to all OSHA and local codes.

J. H. Electric of New York, Inc. is an IBEW Local #3 & Local #25 contractor in good standing, bonded for $8,000,000.00 for single contracts and an aggregate limit of $16,000,000.00. We are licensed in New York City, Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Westchester County in the state of New York. We are also licensed in the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Our extensive work history includes large contracts for major construction management agencies such as Lend Lease Construction Inc., Tishman Construction, Slattery Associates, Builders Group, HRH Construction, Caldwell and Walsh, Kajima Construction Services, Turner Construction Co., Lighton Industries, F. J. Sciame Construction, Carter Brothers, VRH Construction, and Gilbane Co.
