Our Story

Our History

BJ Construction Services was founded in 1998 by Brandon Jennings with only a small a crew of 3 men. In the beginning, BJC constructed projects consisting of residential additions and rough framing. Our first commercial project was completed in 2000 for a Public-School Administration Building.

From there, we continued to grow in the commercial construction industry serving restaurants, health care facilities and commercial offices while Always Building and always expanding our established customer base and commitment to customer service. Our staff is dedicated, and many of our carpenters have 17+ years of carpentry experience to serve project needs. We are an open shop company, and our primary areas of work are rough & finish carpentry which includes steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, doors, and beginning in 2007 we expanded our services to incorporate the manufacturing of our own in-house millwork. Over the years we have grown our capabilities in the Custom Millwork industry. We currently provide an entire range of fully encompassing fabrication and installation services that complement our Construction Base. We are AWI Certified and fully capable of meeting any needs pertaining to, solid surface, laminate, metals, hardwoods, veneers, casework, custom millwork, & upholstery items. We believe that our ability to provide a vast amount of items in your project’s scope gives us the edge to be your one stop shop for all of your Carpentry and Millwork needs.

Millworks Fabrication

In 2015 we moved into our spacious 30,000sqft facility. Allowing us to expand our millwork production in our, controlled environment shop. Fabrication concepts begin in our office with CAD designing tailored to fit our customer’s needs. With endless fabrication possibilities, using state of the art CNC equipment, cutting and producing the exact parts needed is just a click away. Our fabrication limitations do not end with CNC limitations. We Boast a facility full of experienced personnel, machinery, and processes needed to complete any project we are tasked with. We still utilize old world fabrication techniques concerning hardwoods, veneers, and specialty materials when producing highly technical pieces. Success on these items can only be fully achieved by taking proper care and technique required. From the smallest detail, to the largest scope, our manufacturing capabilities can be honed to fit your needs.

Design

BJC has the in-house design and CAD capabilities to create the piece that is exactly right for our clients. After we have been awarded a project, we immediately move into the design phase. Our fully equipped design departments utilize its decades of combined experience to deliver the product our customers expect. BJC uses the industry standard AutoCAD to design every project. Once our customers approve the design, we link these all together using our CabinetVision software and our Morbidelli CNC system. As the final design begins to take form, we incorporate features to produce a safe, well-designed finished product that will stand the test of time.
