Tidwell Enterprises

In 1973 Joe D. Tidwell received the first of two national patents for his design in masonry fireplace fabrications. Joe was one of the central valley's most skilled masons, his work considered art among peers, and his expertise accurate enough to be used as a court certified expert witness. Several years later as the new home market shifted toward tract housing, his son Greg, would establish a company that took his work to the next level.

In 1986, Greg founded Tidwell Enterprises and changed the focus of the local masonry trade. Instead of using costly natural stone and hand laid brick fireplaces, Greg encouraged area builders to consider more efficient options, such as manufactured stone and pre-fabricated fireplaces. The shift in the market signaled a trend toward more affordable tract housing with new energy efficient product standards. Greg's foundation as a third generation building professional and his extensive background in masonry allowed him to develop and grow one of the largest masonry contracting companies in the Central Valley.

Today, Tidwell Enterprises continues to lead the industry with new developments in experimental product tests, application and installation times, and quality assurance. Our success in the industry is largely in part to our consistent ability to complete projects on time with proficiency and accuracy. We believe in perfecting our skill and are part of an elite group masons recognized as an Owens Corning Select Masonry Installer.
