And the construction business is going through a tough period. But thanks to your confidence, Designers Accents continues to move forward. In fact, our client base has grown by 40% during the past five years. How? It has to be the team.

Whether it’s installing seven mini-blinds in a bank branch or mounting 750 manual and motorized roller shades plus 300 cubicle curtains in the new University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center and Risman Tower, Designer Accents takes a team approach. Experienced team members respond to your inquiries, complete jobs on time and on budget, and build strong relationships along the way.

And it’s not just our experience that’s important; it’s our training. All members of every project team including installers have been trained by our product manufacturers. As commercial window treatments become more complex due to motorization and integration with building lighting controls and audio visual systems, we become better at mastering how those products work together. And as projects became LEED certified, we became the first window treatment contractor in Northeast Ohio to staff a certified LEED Green Associate. And that’s just a start.

As our customers move their operations beyond Northeast Ohio, we are being asked to follow them. In 2011, for example, we successfully completed projects in Toledo, Bowling Green, Orrville, and Oxford (all Ohio), plus Washington, D.C., New Jersey, and New York.
