Scope Of Work
The project required nearly 100 IQ2 Intelligent motors from Mechoshade, controlling almost 300 individual shade bands, all mounted in recessed pockets above the ceiling line and separated by 18" wide furred-out columns for which Diversified was able to design and have fabricated, custom aluminum drive shafts to pass through and power the shades. A unique fix that reduced the required number of motors by more than 60%, dramatically reducing overall cost while still providing the convenience and technological advantage of the automated system.
