Scope Of Work
D/B/B 23+ ACRE NATIONAL CEMETERY EXPANSION
- Horizontal and vertical construction
- Developing 5.5 acres of new in-ground burial sections
- Mass excavation of 55,000 cubic yards of overburden
- Installation of 4000 Precast Concrete Burial Crypts [A]
- Landscaping, requiring backfill and final grading of the new crypt fields
CONSTRUCTION AND BUILDOUT
- New building/structure construction over multiple, concurrent work sites
- All buildings were fitted with fire alarm and detection systems; security and surveillance systems; intrusion detection and alarm systems; IT wiring and fiber optics
- (2) Columbarium Courts for 3,000 Precast Cremation Niches [B]
- Columbarium walls constructed of stained, cast-in-place concrete
- Marble niche covers adorning the face of the 1,200 cremation niches
- (2) Small committal shelters for the use of public internment services [C]
- New 3,200 sqft Administration & Public Information building [D]
- New 1,100 sqft Public Restroom building
- New 5,000 sqft Pre-Engineered Facility Maintenance Building [E], including:
- A vehicle wash bay and an equipment wash room designed to clean both large cemetery operational equipment, smaller equipment, and hand tools.
- Vehicle wash bay and equipment room drained through an oil/water separator
- New 55,000 sqft maintenance yard facility with 7.5” PCC paving
- 900 sqft Pre-Engineered Material Storage Building [F]
- New 3,150 sqft pre-engineered 10-bay vehicle canopy structure [G]
- Relocated 1,800 sqft pre-engineered material storage building
CIVIL WORK
- New underground utility systems including power, sanitary, storm, and domestic water
- Water system included a new 700 VF well with an 81,000 gal above ground storage tank
- Demolition, grading, roadways, walkways, landscaping and irrigation
