Dale Fite's Bio
Been with the pack since: 2006
What's best about T2? I like the fact that we're different. We bring our dogs to work which is really cool. We work hard and produce great work, but we remember that it is important to have fun and enjoy the ride.
Favorite breed of dog? Mutts- no one is as appreciative as a mutt.
I've always wanted to: Win the lottery and quit work, although I'd probably keep working though because otherwise i would drive my family nuts instead of my co-workers.
If I didn't work at Tyler 2, I would: Probably be miserable, unemployed, or both.
Dale has successfully led Tyler 2’s finance, human resources and technology team. A former CEO in the manufacturing sector, he brings new vision and valuable insight from his extensive experience in corporate finance and senior management positions to his role at Tyler 2.
A summa cum laude graduate of NC State University with a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University, Dale began his career in the textile industry, and has held various leadership roles including VP of Materials Management and CFO.

What's best about T2? Getting to make the rules. (see ‘Annoying Things’ below)

I probably annoy people when I: Don’t always follow the rules.

If I didn't work at Tyler 2, I would: Train search & rescue dogs.
Biggest misconception about my job: That I’m in charge.
Founder of Tyler 2 Construction, Katie Tyler has driven the growth of this company since founding it in 1983. Her expertise ranges from conceptual and plan-and-spec estimating and project management to mentoring the team and senior executive leadership.
As the big dog, it’s Katie’s challenge to make sure everyone on the team team runs as a pack (in the same direction), to ensure all projects are a success. It’s a challenge she’s more than qualified to handle. She’s grown Tyler 2 from a small, specialty upfit company to a full-service $30 million general contractor. Now with a strong leadership team in place, Katie leads the strategic planning and visioning processes of the organization.
A focus of this vision has been to establish preferred provider contracts with Bank of America (1998), Wells Fargo, Carolina Healthcare Systems, Novant Health, and many major commercial real estate management and development companies. Tyler 2 even earned the prestigious Higher Standards Award from Bank of America.
Katie also devotes a great deal of support to Charlotte-area non-profit organizations. “At Tyler 2, we know that being a leading corporate citizen in the community is more than just working at business, it’s about being a part of the business of building community.”
She received her BA degree from Rutgers University.

With nearly 30 years of construction management experience, Lynne is the ideal Lead Dog for our pack.
As VP of Special Projects, she gets to bring her business development success, extensive experience, management expertise and leadership skills to her role in the growth and success of Tyler 2. She’s our go-to person to oversee major and special projects, and she seeks out new opportunities to expand Tyler 2’s portfolio of work experience in new markets. She’s also one of our most-requested team members, and for good reason.
Lynne is also a 2006 Top 25 Women in Business award winner.
