After studying construction and architecture in Wyoming, John joined the military where he served for 12 years. His last duty assignment was here in D.C. with the Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. John marched in the presidential inaugural parades for George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton he also was on the U.S. Army’s drill team. John learned leadership, and attention to detail while in the military and he now uses those talents renovating homes and commercial buildings. He worked as a framing carpenter, trim carpenter, and a stair railing craftsman for years before He joined the Abby team in 2001 and become a part owner in 2011.
John has served as the president of the board for Hope Worldwide and gives his time and talents to serving the community, the under privileged, and his church.
John has four grand children three lovely granddaughters and a grandson, when he is not spending time with them and has time, he loves to play golf, softball, go boating, or build furniture in his workshop.
