MEK Interiors & Floors, LLC., a Woman Owned Business Enterprise, was founded and has been in operation in Houston since 1974. The company was issued a Certificate of Incorporation in May of 1979.

The owner of MEK Interiors & Floors, LLC. is M. Elaine Kidd and Cynthia Schofield. We are an ISNetworld Certified Vendor, Certified Women's Business Enterprise, and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certified. We're also a proud member of the Associated General Contractors of America and Associated Builders and Contractors.

The company specializes in sales and installation of Floor Covering such as carpet, V.C. tile, vinyl, ceramic, wood, etc. MEK Interiors and Floors also specialize in wall treatments, countertops, interior finishes, and more. 

We have completed various high profile jobs such as Cosmopolitan, Empire, Manhattan, Diamond Beach High-rises, etc. We have also completed The Buckingham, Gleannloch, Solana Retirement Communities, several locations of Kelsey Seybold, St. Hope Foundation, etc. We also currently service Second Baptist Church (all 6 campuses), Perry's Steak House, the Houston Police Department, City Of Houston, Wortham Theater, William P. Hobby Airport, Houston Intercontinental Airport, Port of Houston Authority, multiple educational facilities such as Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas A&M Prairie View, Humble HS, Kipp Journey Collegiate HS, CISD, HISD K-12, etc. We also have ongoing projects with Perry's Restaurants, Taco Cabana, the City of Houston, and more.
