Scope Of Work

The project consisted of new facility housing, passenger waiting, ticket purchasing and customer service areas. An additional attached structure houses the airport restaurant. The construction included exposed post and beam, with all the mechanical and electrical exposed allowing for the open area, which was what the Airport authority requested in their design. The new construction opened the Lancaster area to commercial airline flights. The project was a coordinated juncture between Airport Authority, the architect and the contractor, and Local, State and Federal agencies. The project was completed 1996 and was 6,800 square feet.
