Fairchance Construction Co. is one of the oldest contracting companies in Pennsylvania. Originally founded in 1880 as the McCormick Lumber Company that operated as a lumber and builders supply until 1916 when it was incorporated as Fairchance Lumber Company. Fairchance Construction Co. (as it was renamed in 1994 to better reflect the nature of the business) is a local, family-owned business operated by four generations of the Balling family. Specializing in Construction Management, Design-build, General Contracting services, and Property Development, Fairchance Construction Co. has established a reputation for delivering quality construction projects, on time and on budget. Our many years of experience, the integrity and professionalism of our management staff and field personnel have earned us this reputation, resulting in a long list of satisfied and repeat clients. Fairchance Construction Co. has been a dealer for Butler Manufacturing Co. pre-engineered building systems since 1966, making us the oldest Butler Builder in the region.
