Hello, I am Steve Bitzer. Welcome to Deerfield Construction’s web site. I have had the pleasure of working in the commercial construction industry my entire career. I have enjoyed serving the clients of Deerfield Construction for nearly 30 years. During these years I have had the opportunity to succeed through the following areas: estimating, purchasing, scheduling, field supervision, project management, sales, and president.

I do not totally manage this company from behind my desk. I’m involved not only on bid day, but regularly travel to job sites, meet with clients, and review project delivery results with our team. Our family owned business values the relationships that we have built with clients over the years. We take care of our employees, who in turn take care of our clients.

On a personal note, my lovely wife Barb and I have 5 children. Two children are at home and the three oldest are pursuing their dreams in college. We reside in the Cincinnati area a few miles from the office. My favorite pastimes are playing baseball and coaching a youth baseball team in the community.

Giving back to the community is important to me as well as our employees. I have the privilege of serving on the board for Kicks for Kids, an organization to help kids in need. The employees of Deerfield Construction recently served the community with the construction of two Habitat For Humanity homes in the Over-The-Rhine area of Cincinnati.
