GAC Equity Partners Ltd ("GAC Equity") and GAC Builders Ltd ("GAC Builders") are experienced developers and builders in New York City and the metropolitan area. With over twenty-five years of combined development and construction experience between them, the two founding principals of the companies have successfully rehabilitated or built new over 1,500 multi-family dwelling units in the New York City metropolitan area representing over $300million dollars in development and over $225million in construction costs.

Through our development arm, GAC Equity, we purchase, provide equity, secure financing, plan and design, obtain municipal approvals, and market a variety of residential and retail/commercial real estate developments. GAC Builders, our construction arm, acts as the general contractor for our own and others new construction and rehabilitation projects.

We boast an impressive record of successful residential and retail/commercial real estate development and construction projects throughout New York City and lower Westchester County.  The principals of the companies have been major participants in the new construction and rehabilitation of multi-family market rate and affordable rental and for sale properties throughout New York City.  We are constantly on the lookout for new development and construction opportunities. 

GAC Equity and GAC Builders develops projects themselves and forms joint ventures to develop properties with partners in the residential housing and retail/commercial marketplace.  The principals developed, constructed, and sold "Hamilton Parc", a 29-unit, six-story new construction condominium project located at 504 West 136th Street in Harlem. They completed the development and construction of a 60 unit mixed use project in the Bronx that consists of a five-story building with in excess of 10,000 square feet of new retail space.  In 2010, the owners completed construction of a 10-story, 38 unit luxury condominium in Brooklyn as well as a 6-story mixed use project in the Longwood section of the Bronx that consists of 25 affordable rental units and 7,500 square feet of retail space. In early 2011, as general contractors the principals completed the construction of a 12-story, 76 unit luxury apartment building in Harlem and a new six-story, 60 unit residential building in the Bronx.

In 2012, the principals completed the development and construction of a luxury 135,000 square foot, 14-story new construction co-op project in Brooklyn that included 83 new dwelling units, 49 underground parking spots, and an 8,000 square foot multi-purpose facility containing a full length basketball court, classrooms and office space. The owners also recently completed the moderate rehabiltation of four buildings containing 173 residential units in the Bronx. In the third quarter 2013 the prinicpals completed the construction of an 8-story mixed use project in the Bronx consisting of 59 affordable rental units, 13 underground parking spaces, and 12,000 square feet of retail space.  This development, which turned a NYS Brownfield site into new affordable housing for New York City residents, received the 2013 Big Apple Brownfield Award for Innovation from the NYC Brownfield Partnership.
