Scope Of Work
Dr Pepper Snapple is a LEED Silver Certified 85,000-SF production, warehouse, and office facility in California’s Mohave Desert, serving as the bottler’s center for western U.S. distribution.
The structure’s load-bearing, tilt-up concrete exterior is finished with textured paint. Building corners are marked by EIFS accents.Other exterior highlights include a structural steel-framed roof, an anodized aluminum entrance canopy, clerestory windows, and energy-saving sunshades.The project interior combines 544,000 SF of warehouse, supported by 44 truck docks, with 267,000 SF of production area containing five bottling lines, and 40,000 SF of office space and auxiliary appendage buildings.
To maximize building efficiency, a total facility management system controls the rooftop units and evaporative coolers as well as occupancy sensors on all light fixtures.Fire suppression is separated into multiple systems.The production area uses a standard sprinkler system in conjunction with NFPA while the warehouse employs an ESFR system that permits high rack storage up to 35 feet high.
