Our Story

Carpenter Companies is comprised of two major business units:

The Carpenter Realty Company performs full-service property management for residential, commercial and retail properties.

The S. Carpenter Construction Companymeets the construction needs of retailers, manufacturers, corporations, institutions and businesses all around the state.

 Since 1932, Carpenter Companies has been serving the construction needs of Connecticut businesses and institutions. We have worked steadily over the years for healthcare providers, manufactures, corporations, distributors, banks, schools, utilities and developers on projects ranging from $50,000 to $17,000,000 in size, and we have a $30 million bonding capacity.

Many Carpenter Construction clients are repeat customers due to the outstanding relationships we have developed over the years. Our capabilities are complete. We renovate and restore existing structures, build additions and expansions, erect entire buildings starting with site work and ending with custom carpentry, and we act as construction managers in addition to serving as general contractors.
