Lyle Parks Jr. Construction

Bob Rabun joined the LPJ team in 1997 as a Project Manager and was quickly promoted to Director of Construction for his demonstrated leadership, budgeting acumen and scheduling abilities. After being promoted to Vice President of Construction in 2001, Mr. Rabun rose to Executive Vice President in 2009. Mr. Rabun specializes in complex design-build developments, infrastructure retail and outlet retail building. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from San Diego State University.

He enjoys playing racquetball and traveling with his wife. His favorite pastime is going on outings with his grandchildren. He has five (5) grandkids, so it is always an adventure going anywhere with them.

Starting as a Project Manager in 1989 he specialized in neighborhood and factory outlet centers. In 1997 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and to President in 1999. He then became the successor to Mr. Lyle Parks Jr. as a managing partner in 2004. Today, Mr. Mayeda is the owner of Lyle Parks Jr., Construction and continues to demonstrate his expertise in managing the building of diverse retail centers and maintaining partnered relationships. He studied Architecture at California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo.

Tim has been married to Maryanne for 30 years. Employees are thankful for her calming and supportive partnership. When sober, Tim spends his free time fly fishing, skiing, cycling and doing lots of burpees.

Van Hester joined the LPJ team in 1997 and has since instilled LPJ’s Partner-Build™ approach into all of his projects. Mr. Hester specializes in managing complex retail and mixed-use projects, some of which were constructed over subterranean parking structures. His favorite project has been Montclair Place in Montclair, CA. He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering from California Polytech University at Pomona.

He loves to snow ski and travels to Utah often to ski. He enjoys spending time with his family. He has two grandkids with a third on the way. When he’s home, he likes to work on improving the home. He considers himself quite the handyman.

Cynthia Durda has been a member of the Lyle Parks Jr., Construction team for over 22 years. She has even more experience in the construction industry. Ms. Durda has established a sound rapport with clients and vendors. She is able to interpret blueprints, assist estimating, and close-out packages. Ms. Durda has studied business at MTI Business College, Golden West College, and University of California at Irvine.

After years of college and working for law firms, she realized construction was the industry for her. She enjoys giving back and has been recognized for her charity work with the American Heart Association as well as other organizations. She loves spending time with family in her free time and enjoys running.

Joining the team in 1997, he brought with him over 13 years commercial construction experience. Starting as a superintendent in 1997, he was quickly promoted to the role of Project Manager after just three years with LPJ. Mr. Coria’s construction acumen encompasses ground up, remodel and re-façade projects. He is a valuable LPJ team member and an asset to all projects he manages. Mr. Coria holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton. He is also an accredited LEED Green Associate, USGBC.

Robert Oskorus joined in 2013 and has an extensive accounting background that he brought with him to Lyle Parks Jr., Construction. He is highly capable at implementing management and administrative functions. Mr. Oskorus skillfully provides guidance and supervision to ensure positive results. He has received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Fullerton.

Robert enjoys spending time with his family and doing activities with his wife. In his free time, you can find him working out and exercising to stay healthy and fit.

Devin Budd joined the LPJ team in 2007 as a Project Superintendent, bringing with him proven management expertise and retail building experience. During his time with LPJ, he has supervised construction on $50 million retail projects, TI’s, re-façades and ground-up buildings. Mr. Budd received his Associates of Science in Fire Science in 1991 from Rancho Santiago Community College.

He is proud to be a father of 3 amazing children. He loves horses as well. In addition to his love for cowboy hats, he also races trophy trucks for fun.
