Scope Of Work
For this public art installation at the Santa Monica Pier, Minardos worked with the artist and city engineers to develop, build and install tree boats attached vertically to the pier posts to withstand winter storms and seasonal conditions at water level. The artist intends to release the boats in a ceremony if and when the Santa Monica Bay gets an "A" grade from Heal the Bay.
