Gardner Industries Inc.

Gardner Industries, formerly referred to as Gardner Carpets, was founded in July, 1974 by Seymour Gardner selling commodity broadloom carpet and padding to the trade: flooring retailers and furniture stores in the major New Jersey/New York market area.. At the time, we operated out of a modest 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Passaic, NJ, but, in 1979, we expanded into a larger 25,000 sq ft facility in Fairfield, NJ and dramatically expanded our business with quality, value, service and because of customer demand. In 1985, not only did we expand again into a 40,000 sq ft warehouse in East Hanover, NJ, but we added the first of many major branded lines which helped propel us to become one of the largest full service wholesale flooring distributors in the New Jersey/New York market.

In August, 2013, we expanded and moved yet again to a larger 50,000 sq ft warehouse/showroom facility just off Rt 46 in Fairfield, NJ. This larger facility not only allows us to expand our inventory levels and product offerings, but our location is more convenient to customer for pick ups and for use and access to our showroom full of floor covering products.

In 2000, we launched our Spectrum Collection programs which further catapulted our business. Today, we offer many programs in our exclusive Spectrum Collection in addition to many other branded product lines from major manufactures; and, we sell wholesale to the trade only.
