Fehn Companies, Inc.

Dennis Fehn founded the company in 1971 with 3 trucks, a wheel loader and a screening plant.  He started making sand and gravel deliveries from nearby gravel pits to residents and farmers.

Over the course of 40 years, the company acquired additional gravel pits to supply the growing area.

In the mid 80's, the excavating and grading division was started to build driveways and roads for local residents, house builders, farmers and townships.  The company has added heavy equipment and trucks to the fleet to keep up with the demand.  Our scope of work now includes sand and gravel processing and trucking, earthwork, demolition, specialty contracting services and environmental remediation.

In 2008, Dennis Fehn Gravel & Excavating became a second generation family owned business.  Under the new ownership of Mike and Gary, the company will continue to provide quality service and commitment to their customers.

In 2011, the company name was changed to Fehn Companies, Inc. to reflect our growing business and to better serve our clients.
