Emery (Pepper) Fink, (founder) began his asphalt business in 1970 with a single piece of equipment. Working as a salesman, paver operator, bookkeeper and manager, Pepper believed from the start the a job worth doing was a job worth doing well. Careful site preparation, a commitment to service and quality of finish have always been our trademark. 

Now, over 40 years later, we've grown to over 20 employees with 150+ years of experience, operate our own quarry and carefully manage over $1 million in equipment. Even more satisfying though is that we are only beginning to re-pave some of those first driveways that Pepper paved.
