Scope Of Work
This project consists of building an approximately one mile Class I bicycle facility beginning at North Pacific Street and South Santa Fe Avenue in San Marcos, while continuing along the rail road tracks to Cherimoya Drive. The path will be an eight foot wide multi-use trail that is the next phase of the existing route that runs from Escondido to San Marcos. Plans are then to connect to a future path that will be built from San Marco to Vista, and ending in Oceanside. Planned work includes retaining walls, landscaping and irrigation, lighting, fencing, drainage improvements as well as two-foot wide graded shoulders on each side of the path.
