Our Story

Peña Grading & Demolition, Inc. was officially established in July of 1997 as a natural outgrowth of its then parent company Orestes Peña Trucking, Inc. Orestes Peña Trucking was established in Tampa, Florida in 1974 and then relocated to Southern California in 1976, becoming licensed California contractors (#594533) in 1989. Orestes Peña Trucking, Inc. a construction transportation and equipment rental oriented company began to outgrow its own name as a “trucking” company continually taking on larger and more substantial demolition and grading projects, thus creating the need to officially establish a stand alone “contracting” company. Hence Peña Grading & Demolition, Inc. was born.  To date Peña Grading & Demolition, Inc. actively retains its first and original customer as a testament to our client’s satisfaction and our continually evolving comment to client satisfaction. Our project experience includes projects of all sizes and complexities, ranging from small scale demolition and site work to mass excavation and large-scale earthwork projects.
