Arthur A. Morales, the owner, started Enviro-Test, Inc. in 1995 with Mark VanKeuren, Enviro-Test’s field supervisor and head risk assessor.  Arthur’s credentials include a Masters Degree in Energy Management, EPA Risk Assessment certification, NITON XRF certification and a membership with The Lead and Environmental Hazards Association (LEHA).

Enviro-Test uses state of the art X-Ray Fluorescence technology (non-destructive) to test painted surfaces for lead which in some cases give instant lead based paint test results. Enviro-Test is affiliated with several certified laboratories which provide professional and accurate analysis.

Presently, Enviro-Test has been performing extensive lead-based paint inspection work for various state and county programs throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. In addition, Enviro-Test has been involved with testing public schools and daycare centers for lead-based paint, performing risk assessments for NYS-DOH (New York State Department of Health) and NYS-HPD (New York State Housing Preservation and Development) violations, and inspecting multi-family developments for HUD (Housing and Urban Development) “Big Buy” Programs as well as inspecting single family homes for the private sector.

The services provided are done in a very timely, efficient, and professional manner.  All of the reports are completed by the owner of Enviro-Test, Arthur A. Morales. Depending on the nature of the project, reports are generated between 1 to 5 business days of the inspection and mailed, e-mailed and/or faxed immediately.

Our field staff of Certified Risk Assessors are available on daily basis throughout the 5 boroughs of New York, Long Island, Westchester County, Putnam County and the capital region which includes Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Troy.

In addition to the lead-based paint services we provide, Enviro-Test is also a New York State-Certified Asbestos Inspection and Project Monitoring company.  Enviro-Test also has professional experience dealing with mold investigations and mold sampling concerning many forms of moisture damage and airborne related hazards.
