The facility was a 24 hour, 7 days per week critical operational center for air traffic control that maintained full occupancy and operations throughout the course of the project.
PacRim provided abatement project oversight, which required a complex level of scheduling coordination, diligent perimeter monitoring, prior-planned control measures, and a high level of flexibility. PacRim was responsible for evaluating regulatory compliance on-site, tracking worker certifications, and monitoring the work practices of the asbestos abatement contractor throughout demolition. PacRim also conducted visual inspections, as well as clearance samples using the NIOSH Method 7400.
The project consisted of 17 days of work and was successfully completed on schedule, with PacRim having effectively maintained site safety and compliance throughout.
