Serve in senior management roles on Federal, Public Works, Private, State and Municipal projects for General Contractor specializing in the construction of Utility, Lighting, Electrical, Civil, Building and Infrastructure projects. Manage and deliver multiple projects and task orders concurrently. Self-perform most work with in-house personnel and equipment. Prepare detailed cost estimates and professional proposals. Have knowledge of conditions, subcontractors and vendors in southwest U.S. Experienced in alternate delivery contracts including Design-Build, Negotiated, Cost plus Fee, Construction Manager at Risk and Job Order Contracts.
• Contribute to the overall strategy, marketing, goals and operations of the firm.
• Secure, manage, and construct concurrent Federal, Public Works and Private projects.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals, cost estimates and presentations.
• Ensure that contracts are safely delivered on time, with high quality and to complete customer satisfaction.
• Manage, supervise, & maintain teams of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Quality Control, Estimators, Project Superintendents and Construction Crews, for complete turn-key project operations.
• Establish and maintain a beneficial relationship with Contracting Officers, Project Inspectors, Managers, Owners, General Contractors, Engineers, Subcontractor, Suppliers and Vendors.
• Create and maintain Project Budgets, Schedules, Pay Estimates and Change Orders.
• Prepare Work-in-Progress, Cost-to-Finish and other project financial and forecasting reports.
• Host, lead and participate in Pre-Construction Meeting, Weekly Progress Meetings, Safety Meetings, Owner’s Meetings and other Pre-Construction and Project Meetings.
• Prepare / review / approve / execute documentation required for the construction of the project and by contract documents, including Subcontracts, Safety plans, Quality Control plans, Site & Job Specific plans, Submittals, RFI’s and General Correspondences.
