Our Story

Tex/Am Construction Co., Inc. serves as a minority woman-owned, small business, General Contractor with the dedication to see a project through completion in the most expeditious and cost effective manner. Over our thirty-one years of performing construction services, Tex/Am’s mission is to provide construction services to all our clients to include a distinguishable level of excellent estimating, project management and workmanship. Many of our skilled estimators, project managers and superintendents have been a part of the Tex/Am team for more than 15 years with many having more than 25 plus years of experience in their field of work.

Tex/Am’s reputation for customer service, honesty, scheduling, and safety is undisputed in the industry. Tex/Am is a diversified contractor with the ability to perform new construction, demolition, in-house: carpentry, electrical, and painting. Tex/Am is particularly well known for its special expertise in complex renovations, restorations, modernizations and historic sites and museums. Our experience and resources continue to satisfy and provide value to demanding projects and clients. We strive to exceed our client’s expectations and long-lasting relationship. A majority of Tex/Am’s work comes from a stable base of negotiated repeat business clients. 

Our projects have been successfully completed in a variety of delivery methods, including general contracting, subcontracting and design/build. Achieving this standard is dependent on the team efforts of our highly dedicated professional staff, working together with only the most capable and cost-conscious subcontractors. Establishing a rapport with all our subcontractors and suppliers is a Tex/Am trademark. Building a solid relationship makes a good team for Tex/Am to be successful in the construction industry. Our integrity and hands-on approach is an important reason Tex/Am has developed and maintained fantastic client and subcontractor relationships.
