Our Story

UATC & Associates, Inc. was founded in June 1993 by Mr. William Lewis.  As President of UATC, his qualifications are many. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Electronics Technology from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1972. He completed his Masters of Business Administration from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri in 1992.

 

He worked as an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry for five years with Westinghouse and for thirteen years in the telecommunications industry with Southwestern Bell building telecommunications networks.

 

Over the last ten years, UATC has acquired licenses in the areas ofconstruction, telecommunications, and electrical contracting.  Our reliability has allowed us to obtain the appropriate bonding to participate in the bidding and winning of millions of dollars of constructioncontract work.

 

Our primary clients have been governmental agencies such as the Department of Energy, US Bureau of Prisons, Orleans Parish School Board, City of New Orleans, and the Port of Orleans
