Our Story

Started in 1950 as Krouscup Electric, Electric 1 has been under the same ownership since 1985. Our many years of experience enable us to perform virtually all aspects of electrical work. Electric 1 made up of 5 distinct divisions being Residential, Commercial, Service, Data/Fire Alarm and Infrastructure will be sure to serve you no matter what the job. Electric 1 can serve your needs with timely answers, estimates, and prompt efficient service.

Our service division is available 24/7 - 365 days a year and with a warehouse containing $300,00 in material, repairs can be made immediately with no waiting for parts to be ordered. No project is too large or too small for Electric 1 to provide our services.

Electric 1 performs electrical work from small remodeling projects to multi-million dollar buildings. Our residential wiremen have made Electric 1 the largest residential wiring firm in south central Wisconsin. We also have a state licensed electrical designer on staff that can help with any lighting project.
