Our Story

Superior Electric is a family owned and operated electrical contracting business based out of Wilmington, DE. Superior has been in business for over 25 years now and we are showing no signs of slowing down! We are a union contractor and specialize in commercial and industrial electric applications. Superior does work all over the state of Delaware, as well as in Chester County, PA. and in Maryland. Whether you are building new from the ground up or just doing some renovations, there is no job too large for us to handle. Superior can also provide custom tailored Maintenance Programs for your specific needs. 

We have a qualified team of electricians available in all fields of electrical installation, maintenance and repair, including high voltage, power distribution, building lighting, automated controls, security and CCTV systems, voice systems, data systems, fire alarms and site lighting. Our company has a dedicated service truck as well as an electrician on-call 24/7 for those after hour service calls. We have 24 hour supply house access to get you up and running, even in the middle of the night.

There are many services we can provide that other electrical contractors would have to outsource for. Any service we can provide in-house can save you both time and money. Superior Electric owns many tools that prove useful on big jobs. Some of these items include scissor lifts of various heights, a bucket truck used for site lighting and pulling wire, as well as a backhoe and other digging equipment for trenching. We also have all the latest hand tools, equipment and electrical meters required for our profession.

Inside our office builing you will find a full drafting and CADD department with BIM capabilities and all of the other latest drafting technologies. We offer full design-build and have an experienced team of qualified electricians and estimators here to help you along the way. We can provide you and your company with support and assistance in the preparation of competitive bids and accurate budgets for all different types of electrical projects. We have a proven record of success with our Fast Track projects and work hard to meet our clients' scheduled goals. Our staff is committed to providing you with prompt, efficient and quality service. We have the people and the tools to get the job done right and on time.
