We Have Iron in our Blood
The American Door family takes tremendous pride in the fact that we have been helping people in the New York metropolitan area accomplish their jobs twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year for over five generations. Since our founder, settled in Brooklyn and started our family in 1905 as a union iron worker, we have built New York. From bridges to skyscrapers, and even underground, we have welded and shaped the infrastructure and skyline of the greatest city on Earth.
As an overhead door company American Door has applied its vast knowledge and experience to provide emergency services. Everyone has doors that must work, whether it is first responders, logistics professionals, or security personnel. When you push the button, the door must work and must be secure. Otherwise, the firetruck doesn't respond, the freight doesn't move, and the facility is unsecured. That's where we come in. We always answer, and we always respond.
In the 21st Century, the American Door family continues to extend our experience and expertise to varied areas of business infrastructure. We have furthered our company umbrella of quality products and services beyond iron and steel rolling service doors and loading dock equipment. Adapting to changing technologies, we learn and grow to provide peerless service and quality products to fulfill all of our customer infrastructure and security needs.
