Our Story

Nystrom manufactures and offers a broad line of specialty building products to better serve construction professionals and architects. For more than 60 years, Nystrom has been committed to developing customer focused professionals and creating hassle-free processes that directly serve and simplify the building process.

Our sixty-year old company provides ten extensive lines of architectural building products sold to building owners, contractors and subcontractors operating around the world and delivered direct to the construction site. We also support architects with comprehensive specification coordination, updated digital content and a technical support program for all of our products.

Nystrom truly values serving the greater good; environmental and social responsibility has always been a core and fundamental value of our owner, Jim Nystrom. He has championed this commitment and made it part of our culture since he took over the business in 1985. As an active member of the US Green Building Council and its regional chapter, Nystrom has made significant investments in achieving sustainability in both its products and its operations. We also actively employ policies that take into account our corporate responsibility to sustainability and our society as a whole. Whether we are implementing new recycling programs, contributing to local charities, or allocating days off to our employees for local community service, Nystrom truly values serving the greater good.

We are excited for the future and work hard every day to do the right thing for all of our stakeholders.
