Sterling Structures

Jay Carlton has leadership for all of Sterling Structures activities and business opportunities. Jay isco­ founder and shareholder of Sterling since 1997. Previously, Jay served as a managing partnerwith Harrop Construction Company. He held management positions at Trammel Crow, Pinkerton andLaws, and Stone Construction.   Carlton formally served for 13 years as a board member for theHouston Chapter of the Association of General Contractors, and remains active in the AGC/AlA. Jayis currently serving on the board of Rebuilding Together Houston, a national non-profit. Jay serves hiscommunity as City Councilman and as Fire Commissioner for the City of Hunter's Creek Village. Jay graduated Cum Laudefrom Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science.

Mike has oversight of all Sterling Structureps field operations and business development.  Mike'sextensive experience in the construction industry has provided him with an in-depth understandingof successful field management. Mike is a co-founder and shareholder of Sterling since 1997. Priorto founding Sterling, Mike held construction positons with Katy Independent School district, HarropConstruction Company, Repcon Commercial Contracting, and Dyad Development Company. Mikecurrently serves as a City Councilman with the City of Hillshire Village.

 Prasad directs the estimating, value engineering, and design of all potential projects. Clientsappreciate Prasad's engineering experience and solution-oriented  approach to projectdevelopment.  Prasad joined Sterling in 2002 as chief estimator.  He was promoted to shareholderand partner in 2017. Prior to joining Sterling, Prasad held positions at J.J. Contracting, Inc. andHarrop Construction Company. Prasad is a graduate of South Dakotas School of Mines &Technology with a master's degree in Civil Engineering.

Sandy Carlton manages financial operations for the company including payroll, insurance reportingand preparation of financial statements.  Prior to joining Sterling, Sandy worked for BMC Softwareand Shell Oil Company. Sandy is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBAin marketing, and received an MBA from the University of Houston
